Fit Check Required on Every Lift Sale

Every lift kit ships with a free Fit Check. Five minutes of information from you. Saves a 90% chance of an install-day surprise.

Why we require it

The single most common reason a lift install goes sideways is that the lift doesn’t fit the bay. Sometimes the ceiling is too low. Sometimes the concrete is too thin or too cracked at the anchor point. Sometimes the bay is too narrow to swing the arms. Sometimes the customer’s electrical can’t handle the lift’s motor.

None of these problems are obvious from a catalog. All of them are catastrophic on install day — you can’t install a lift you can’t fit. The lift sits, you’re out the cost of freight to return it, and the install crew goes home billable.

We refuse to ship a lift without confirming it fits. That’s the Fit Check.

What we ask for

The form takes about five minutes:

  • Your name, business, phone, email, shipping address
  • Which lift type you’re considering
  • The vehicles you plan to lift — weight class, vans/trucks/cars
  • Bay ceiling height (we ask for the lowest point under the obstruction)
  • Bay width and depth
  • Concrete thickness, age, condition (we may ask for a photo)
  • Electrical service available (208-230V, 1Ph, 30A is most common)
  • Whether you have a forklift / loading capability for delivery
  • Whether you want install help

What happens next

  1. You submit the Fit Check form when you order or before, your choice.
  2. We review within 24 hours on business days. If your bay fits the lift you picked, we confirm and ship.
  3. If something doesn’t fit, we tell you immediately. Sometimes it’s as simple as switching to a low-ceiling variant. Sometimes it requires a different lift entirely. Either way, we figure it out before any money or freight is committed.
  4. If you need install help, we coordinate that as a separate step (see Install Coordination).
