Check the arms for straightness and the pins for wear. Sight down each arm for a bend from being backed into or overloaded, and check that the telescoping sections slide without excessive slop. Worn arm pins and retainers let the arm lift or rotate under load. An arm that's bent, or that flops on a worn pin, isn't holding the car where you set it.
