The Quality Lift ALS-7234-128-15 is the direct-replacement lift adapter for the Quality Lift lift it came off of — the genuine part, same fit and same working specification as the one already on your lift. Ordering the Quality Lift lift adapter from us gets you the OEM piece that matches the lift, not an aftermarket knock-off that is close but not the same.

Specifications

• Part number: ALS-7234-128-15
• Brand: Quality Lift
• Type: Genuine OEM lift adapter

Structural parts fit by geometry and rating, and both matter. A pad has to match the arm's cup or bolt pattern; an adapter has to reach the right height and clear the rocker; a carriage and its hardware are specific to the column they ride. A part that's close but not right sits proud, loads a corner, or won't seat flat — and on a component that carries the vehicle, "close enough" isn't a spec worth trusting.

Replacing your lift adapter

Swapping arm pads is one of the simplest jobs on a lift — pop the old pad, seat the new one in the arm's cup or bolt pattern — but it's also one of the most important, because the pad is what grips the car. Confirm the new pads match the arms and sit flush. Even so, the full procedure is worth a quick read before you put a vehicle back on them. Not sure on the procedure? Find your lift in our parts lookup or call and we will walk you through it.

Find the right part for your lift

Not certain this is the exact part your lift needs? Start with your lift's model and serial off the data plate, then open our parts lookup to see the visual parts breakdown for your model — the exploded drawing with every part numbered and priced. If your plate is missing or unreadable, our guide to finding your model number walks through where to find it, or send us a photo and we will identify the lift for you.

Signs this part is worn out

For ramps and approach parts, look for bends, cracks, and worn hinge points. A ramp that's bent won't sit flush and can kick out when a car drives up; a cracked hinge or worn pivot lets it shift. Check that stops and retainers are present and that the ramp locks where it should. A ramp is load-bearing at the moment of drive-on, so bends and cracks there matter.

Parts commonly replaced at the same time

While you are replacing this, check its companions: worn pads often ride with worn adapters and elongated pin bores. Replacing the set keeps the vehicle sitting square on the lift. Tell us your model and we will build the pad-and-adapter kit plus the mounting hardware so nothing is left worn.

Safety notes

The parts that touch the vehicle — pads, adapters, ramps, arm hardware — are what keep it from slipping off the lift. Once a pad is crushed, a lip is bent, or a pin hole has wallowed out, the safe grip is gone. Swap them at the first sign of wear rather than trusting a vehicle to a worn contact point.

Before you order

Get the structural order right by matching the old part: shape, size, and mounting style all vary by model. Most contact parts belong in sets, so replace them together for even support. Confirm model and serial when you call and we will make sure the fit is correct before it ships.

Ordering the right revision

Before this goes in the cart, grab two things off your lift: the model number and the serial number, both on the manufacturer's plate. The serial matters more than most people expect — lift makers revise components between production runs without renaming the lift, and the run your serial falls in determines which revision of this part is correct.

If you are working from a failed part rather than a plate, measure what you have and photograph how it mounts. Send that to us along with the lift brand, and we will check it against the same parts breakdowns our own techs use in the field before you commit to the order.
